This page is different from the other reviews on this site. When we tried to reach casinofarouk.com on 4 September 2026, the domain did not resolve, twice, and Trustpilot has shut its review page with a note that the company's website has closed. We have no official statement from the operator, so we cannot say the casino is gone for good, but we can say that it is not somewhere you can play today. We keep this page so that UAE players and others searching the name find an honest answer and a working alternative, rather than a stale review with a sign-up button.

Overview

Casino Farouk was operated by NewEra B.V. under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/181/0181. Casino Guru dates it to 2022; Arabic review sites say 2020. It was not connected to YYY Casino or any other brand on this site; its operator and affiliate programme were separate.

On paper it was built for this audience. The site ran in English and Arabic with Arabic live chat reported around the clock, accounts could be held in AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, BHD and OMR as well as USD, EUR, GBP and crypto, and the lobby drew on 71 studios including NetEnt, Nolimit City, Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil and Evolution, with Ezugi alongside Evolution in the live section and a sportsbook with esports and virtuals. Few Gulf-facing casinos have offered dinar and rial accounts; that was its genuine selling point.

Its record was the problem. Casino Guru gave it a Safety Index of 2.2, which it labels "Very low", judged its terms unfair, and logged an unresolved complaint over €2,101 held during verification. Trustpilot carried a single one-star review about a deposit that was never credited, with the operator blaming its payment provider. AskGamblers and LCB had no page for it at all. Everything we know comes from Casino Guru and affiliate sites; nothing was ever verifiable on the brand's own site.

Bonus and terms

Affiliate sites advertised a 100% welcome bonus up to $1,000. One version, dated April 2024, spread that across four deposits with a 100% match up to $200 on the first; Casino Guru listed only a 100% match up to $300 among five offers. Wagering, minimum deposit and expiry were never confirmed, and no version was verified on the operator's site. If you are researching bonuses that are actually claimable this month, our welcome bonus guide and no deposit bonus page cover live offers only.

Games and live casino

The library was broad: Pragmatic Play and NetEnt staples, Nolimit City's high-volatility range, Yggdrasil, and Evolution plus Ezugi in the live lobby with eight live game types. No source reported Arabic-speaking dealer tables. Players who came for those should look at the live dealer guide, which lists the operators where Arabic tables are on record, and the Arabic roulette page.

Payments and currencies

Farouk's cashier was one of the widest in the market: Visa and Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, MuchBetter, MiFinity, AstroPay, Jeton, SticPay, Binance Pay, bank transfer and a dozen cryptocurrencies including USDT. Combined with Gulf-currency accounts, it let a player in Kuwait deposit in dinars from a foreign card without conversion. That combination is rare, and if the casino returns it will be the reason to look again. As with every offshore site, KNET, BenefitPay, Thawani, QPay and STC Pay were never usable.

Withdrawals

Quoted times were within 24 hours for crypto and 2 to 5 business days for fiat, with a €5,000 weekly cap and a €100,000 daily net-win limit. The one complaint on record was about verification holding a payout, which is the pattern that Casino Guru's rating reflects. If you have funds still inside the site, email the support address you used, keep the thread, and note that Curaçao's regulator handles complaints only against licensed, operating sites.

Mobile and app

There was no app; the site was a mobile-optimised website.

Support and Arabic

Casino Guru recorded an Arabic and English interface with live chat and support in both languages, 24/7. We could not test any of it.

Is it good for players in the Gulf

Not today, because the site is unreachable. For reference, it accepted players from all five countries below, with Iraq the only reported Arab exclusion, and offered each of their currencies:

  • United Arab Emirates. AED accounts were offered. Minimum age 21. Not GCGRA-licensed. See the UAE guide for sites that work now.
  • Qatar. QAR accounts were offered. See the Qatar guide.
  • Kuwait. KWD accounts were offered. See the Kuwait guide.
  • Bahrain. BHD accounts were offered. See the Bahrain guide.
  • Oman. OMR accounts were offered. See the Oman guide.

Gambling is prohibited for individuals in all five countries. Each guide sets out the specific article and penalty.

Verdict

Casino Farouk promised the Gulf player a lot: six Gulf currencies, Arabic support, a huge cashier and a full casino and sportsbook. It delivered a "Very low" safety rating, unfair terms, an unresolved verification complaint and, as of September 2026, a website that does not load. We would not have recommended it while it was running and we cannot recommend it now. If it reappears under the same name or a new domain, treat it as a new casino with an old record, and test it with a small deposit before anything else.

These are the Gulf-facing casinos we recommend instead, all reachable and all accepting players from the five countries above.

Frequently asked questions

Is Casino Farouk still open?

As far as we can tell, no. casinofarouk.com failed to resolve on two separate attempts on 4 September 2026, and Trustpilot has closed the review page with a note that the company's website has closed. We have not seen an official announcement. If you had a balance there, contact the support email you used and keep any correspondence; there is no regulator in the Gulf that can chase it for you.

Was Casino Farouk available in the UAE?

It accepted registrations from the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia, with Iraq reported as the only restricted Arab country, and it held accounts in all six Gulf currencies. It was licensed in Curaçao, not by the UAE's GCGRA. None of that matters now if the site is offline; the alternatives listed on this page accept UAE players today.

What was the Casino Farouk welcome bonus?

Affiliate sites advertised 100% up to $1,000, in one version spread over four deposits with a 100% match up to $200 on the first. Casino Guru listed only 100% up to $300. Wagering and minimum deposit were never confirmed, and the figures were not verified on the operator's site, which was unreachable.

Was Casino Farouk legit?

It had a published operator, NewEra B.V., and a Curaçao licence number, but Casino Guru gave it a Safety Index of 2.2, 'Very low', flagged unfair terms and recorded an unresolved €2,101 verification complaint. Trustpilot's single review was one star. It was a casino we would not have recommended even while it was running.

Where should Casino Farouk players go instead?

For a Gulf-built site with Arabic support and a long payout history, YYY Casino. For dirham accounts and the 888 lobby, 888 Casino Arabic. For Arabic-speaking dealers, Royals Casino. For the biggest sportsbook and Arabic live tables, Betfinal. All four accept players from the five Gulf states covered on this site.
