The short version
Some of the casinos reviewed on this site pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links. That commission is how the site is funded. It does not change the rating a casino gets, the order it appears in, or what we write about it.
Which links are paid
Outbound links to casinos go through our /go/ redirect and carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which is the standard way to tell browsers and search engines that a link is commercial. If you see a gold "Play at" button, or any link whose address starts with /go/, that is a link we may be paid for.
Links to regulators, payment providers, dispute sites, help organisations and other reference pages are plain links. We receive nothing when you click them.
Not every casino we list pays us. A brand can be reviewed, rated and placed in a ranking without any commercial arrangement, and several are.
How we are paid
The usual arrangement is a share of the casino's revenue from players who register through our link, sometimes a fixed amount per depositing player, occasionally both. Payment comes from the operator or its affiliate programme, never from the player: registering through our link costs you nothing extra and does not change the bonus, limits or terms you receive. Where a casino offers an exclusive bonus through our link, the page says so and quotes the terms.
We are not paid for reviews, for placements in a list, or for a particular score. Operators who ask are told no; the contact page says as much.
What commissions do not change
Ratings. Each casino is scored out of 5 for trust, games, bonus and support by the editor who tested it, and the score is checked by the second editor. The affiliate programme has no input. The about page describes the test process.
List order. Lists on pages such as online casinos for UAE players and live dealer casinos are ordered by rating and by how well the brand fits the country the list is for. A brand that pays a higher commission does not move up.
"Preferred" picks. When a page names a preferred casino for a country or a game, that choice is editorial. It is the brand the editors would open an account with themselves, given the acceptance rules, the payment rails and the Arabic support available. The preferred brand is often one that pays us, because the brands worth recommending are usually the ones with affiliate programmes, but the label is not for sale and has been moved when a brand's withdrawal record got worse.
Removals. We have removed casinos that paid us commissions when their complaint record or payout behaviour no longer met our standard, and we will do it again.
Bonus figures
Welcome bonuses, free spins and cashback amounts are quoted as the casino advertises them at the time the page was last updated. We check the figures against the operator's own bonus page and terms, and if we could not confirm a figure the page says "not confirmed". Operators change offers without telling us, so the bonus you see on registration may differ from the one on our page. Where that happens, tell us and we will correct the page.
A bonus is not money. Every offer on this site carries wagering requirements, game restrictions, maximum-bet rules and time limits, and we describe them in each review so you can judge whether the offer is worth taking.
