Football is where Arab betting demand is deepest. This page compares the sportsbooks we list on the competitions Arab bettors actually follow, from the Premier League on beIN Sports to the Saudi Pro League and the Gulf Cup, explains the markets and the Asian handicap, and says which books hold up in play and at withdrawal.

Football takes more Arab betting money than every other sport combined. The Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League arrive on beIN Sports every evening, the Saudi Pro League has European names in it since 2023, and the Gulf Cup and the AFC Champions League are the regional competitions with the most in-play interest. Thirteen of the casinos we list attach a sportsbook to the casino balance, and the eight ranked above are the ones with a football book worth using. This page compares them competition by competition, explains the markets, and says what changes when you bet in play. The Arabic betting hub covers other sports; the horse racing and camel racing pages cover the Gulf's own racing.

The ranking above weighs each book's football coverage against the operator's payout record, which is why YYY and 888, with smaller books but stronger records, lead the 1x-platform specialists.

Nomini and Slots Palace share Rabona's platform and book; N1 Bet restricts Kuwait in its own terms; VIP Arab Club runs a sportsbook we do not send traffic to; Betway has the strongest Premier League product of any brand we list and restricts the UAE in its own terms, with an unconfirmed registration path elsewhere in the Gulf. All are left out of the ranking.

The competitions Arab bettors follow

Premier League. The most-bet competition in the region, shown across the Gulf on beIN Sports, with Saturday 15:00 kick-offs landing at 18:00 in the UAE and 17:00 in Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait and Manama. Every book on this page prices it to player level: match result, Asian handicap, totals, both teams to score, correct score, first and anytime goalscorer, corners, cards and half-time markets. The 1x-platform books add shots, offsides and player props; YYY and Betfinal stop at the main markets. Margins on the match result run about 5 to 6 percent at 1xBet, 22Bet and BetWinner and 6 to 7 percent at YYY, 888 and Betfinal.

La Liga and the Champions League. La Liga follows the Premier League in volume, with the Clásico the single most-bet club fixture of the year, and the Champions League is where in-play money concentrates: Tuesday and Wednesday 21:00 CET kick-offs are 23:00 in the UAE and Oman and 22:00 in the rest of the Gulf. Every book prices both to the same depth as the Premier League, and the outright markets on both are open all season.

Saudi Pro League. Since Ronaldo, Benzema and Neymar arrived in 2023 the Saudi Pro League is priced everywhere, and to player level at the 1x-platform books. Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli fixtures carry match odds, Asian handicaps, totals, corners, cards and goalscorer markets; the rest of the league carries match odds, totals and handicaps, at wider margins of 7 to 8 percent. Kick-offs at 18:00 to 21:00 Riyadh time suit Gulf bettors better than any European league. The Saudi betting page covers the rails that work from the Kingdom.

Gulf leagues. The ADNOC Pro League, the Qatar Stars League, Kuwait's Zain Premier League, the Bahrain Premier League and the Oman Professional League are priced fixture by fixture at 1xBet, 22Bet and BetWinner in pre-match and in-play, with match odds, totals and Asian handicaps and, on the biggest fixtures, corners and cards. YYY, Betfinal, 888, Rabona and Haz carry the main fixtures pre-match. Margins are 8 percent or more, because volume is thin, so compare two books before a derby.

AFC Champions League. The continental competition, restructured as the AFC Champions League Elite from 2024 with the Saudi clubs and Al Ain among the favourites every season, is priced by every book on this page from the league stage onwards, and to full depth at the 1x-platform books. Its Monday and Tuesday evening kick-offs are the most-bet Asian fixtures of the week in the Gulf.

Gulf Cup. The Arabian Gulf Cup, played every two years between the eight Gulf federations, is the region's own tournament and the most-backed one on the calendar outside the World Cup. Every book prices it match by match and outright when it is on; between editions, there is nothing to bet.

World Cup and Asian qualifying. The World Cup and the Asian qualifying rounds that precede each edition are priced everywhere, and the Gulf national teams' home qualifiers draw the heaviest in-play volume of any Gulf event.

Markets and the Asian handicap

Every book on this page offers match result, double chance, draw no bet, over/under goals, both teams to score, Asian handicap, correct score, half-time/full-time and accumulators; first and anytime goalscorer are universal on the top leagues and patchy on the Gulf ones; corners, cards, shots and player props are the 1x-platform books' territory.

The Asian handicap is the market regular bettors use, and the one most Arabic-language guides explain badly. It removes the draw by giving one side a goal start, in whole, half or quarter goals:

Line Your side wins by 1 Draws Loses by 1
-0.5 Win Lose Lose
-1.0 Stake refunded Lose Lose
-1.5 Lose Lose Lose
-0.75 Half win, half refunded Lose Lose
+0.5 Win Win Lose
+1.0 Win Win Stake refunded

Quarter lines split the stake between the two nearest half lines, so Al Hilal -0.75 is half a stake on -0.5 and half on -1.0. The margin on Asian lines is usually a point or two lower than on the match result at the same book, which over a season is the difference between a losing and a break-even bettor. The 1x-platform books offer a dozen alternative lines on every fixture; YYY, Betfinal and Rabona offer the main line and one or two alternatives.

In-play betting from the Gulf

Most Gulf football betting happens in play, and the time zone helps: European evening kick-offs are prime time rather than the small hours, and the Gulf leagues kick off between 17:00 and 21:00 local. What matters in play is the speed of the book's feed and how long it suspends markets after a goal, a card or a VAR check. 1xBet, 22Bet and BetWinner run the same fast feed with cash-out on most football markets and stream selected matches; Betfinal sits between; Rabona's feed is slower and suspends more often; YYY and 888 offer cash-out on selected events. Two practical points. A bet placed on a 4G connection that drops mid-confirmation is the most common cause of a disputed bet, so wait for the confirmation screen. And every book voids in-play bets placed after a goal its feed had not yet registered; the 1x-platform books' terms allow them to void a winning bet on that ground days later. The mobile page compares the mobile sites, which is where in-play bets are placed.

Football bonuses

A sports welcome bonus is a match on the first deposit with a rollover of 5x to 6x on accumulators, rather than the 35x to 50x of casino offers. 22Bet and BetWinner require 5x on accumulators of three or more legs at odds of at least 1.40 each within 7 days; Betfinal asks 6x; 1xBet's trackers say 5x. That is achievable in a month of ordinary football betting, but the accumulator condition means singles do not count, and most books void bonus winnings placed on both sides of a market or on very short odds. Because the sports and casino wallets are usually one balance, accepting a casino bonus locks the whole balance behind casino wagering; take one or the other.

Paying a football book is the same problem as paying a casino: Gulf cards are often declined, domestic rails such as KNET and BenefitPay never reach an offshore book, and AstroPay, Jeton, MuchBetter, Skrill and USDT are what players use. 1xBet and BetWinner hold accounts in AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, BHD and OMR, which avoids conversion. The country betting pages for the UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco go rail by rail.

Before you bet

Every book on this page is licensed outside the Arab world. Betting by individuals is an offence across the Gulf, and our UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia guides set out the articles and penalties. In the UAE only GCGRA-licensed operators are lawful, including the first licensed online sportsbook, live since December 2025 for players physically in the country and aged 21 or over. Payout record before market count: 1xBet and BetWinner have the deepest books and the worst complaint records on our list, and a book that restricts your account after a winning month is worse than one with fewer markets. Set a stake limit before the season starts, and read our responsible gambling page if betting stops being fun.

Frequently asked questions

Which football betting site is best for Arab players?

For most bettors, YYY: an Arabic site with 24/7 Arabic chat, a football-led book that prices the European and Gulf leagues in the same wallet as the casino, and USDT payouts usually inside an hour. 1xBet has the deepest book by far, with corners, cards and player markets on every Gulf fixture, and the worst complaint record on our list. Every book here is licensed outside the Arab world.

Can I bet on the Saudi Pro League?

Yes, at every sportsbook on this page. Since the 2023 signings the Saudi Pro League is priced to player level at the 1x-platform books, with match odds, totals, Asian handicaps, corners, cards and goalscorer markets on Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli fixtures; YYY, Betfinal, 888 and Rabona carry match odds, totals and handicaps. No book is licensed in Saudi Arabia, where gambling is prohibited.

What is an Asian handicap?

A market that removes the draw by giving one side a goal start, in halves or quarters. Al Hilal minus 1.5 wins if Al Hilal wins by two or more; minus 1.0 refunds your stake if they win by exactly one; minus 0.75 splits the stake between minus 0.5 and minus 1.0. The bookmaker's margin on Asian lines is usually lower than on the match result, which is why regular bettors use them.

Which books offer in-play betting and cash-out?

1xBet, 22Bet and BetWinner run the same fast in-play feed with cash-out on most football markets and stream selected matches. Betfinal sits between; Rabona's feed is slower and suspends more often; YYY and 888 offer cash-out on selected events only. European evening kick-offs land at 22:00 to 23:00 in the UAE, which is prime time rather than the small hours.

What is the best football welcome bonus?

1xBet's 100% up to 450 QAR or SAR is the only one we read on the bookmaker's own Gulf page. 22Bet's 100% up to $122 and BetWinner's 100% up to €130 carry a 5x rollover on accumulators of three or more legs at 1.40 or higher; Betfinal's 100% up to $100 asks 6x. All of these are lighter than the 35x to 50x on casino bonuses, but the accumulator condition is the catch.

Is football betting legal in the Gulf?

No. Betting by individuals is an offence in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia, and every book on this page is licensed abroad. In the UAE only GCGRA-licensed operators are lawful, including the first licensed online sportsbook, live since December 2025 for players physically in the country and aged 21 or over. Our country pages set out the articles and penalties.
